- Lockout/Tagout: Before working on any energized equipment or near moving parts, ensure lockout/tagout is applied. Isolate all energy sources and verify zero energy state.
- PPE: Wear safety glasses with side shields and cut-resistant gloves. When using torque wrenches near edges, use hand protection to prevent pinch injuries.
