Terms of Service

The short version

You use our tools, you pay the listed price, you own your data, we host it responsibly. Don't abuse the service, and we won't surprise you with hidden terms.

Who this covers

These terms apply to all Ryxen products: SwitchDesk, SiteQueue, SupplyGrid, SafeDesk, ShopDocs, and ServiceGrid. When we say "Ryxen," "we," or "our," we mean the company behind all six tools. When we say "you," we mean anyone who creates an account or uses any Ryxen product.

Your account

You need an account to use any Ryxen product. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person — don't share logins. If you suspect unauthorized access, email us immediately at hello@ryxen.ca.

Free trial

Every Ryxen product offers a 14-day free trial with full Pro features. No credit card required. After 14 days, your account becomes read-only — you can still view your data, but you can't create, edit, export, or use the AI assistant. Upgrade to continue, or your data stays safe until you do.

Paid plans

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and listed on each product's pricing page and on ryxen.ca. We don't do per-user pricing — the listed price is the price. You can cancel anytime. Monthly plans stop at the end of the billing period. Annual plans are non-refundable but remain active for the full year.

Founding member plans

Founding member pricing is locked for 3 years from the date of purchase. After 3 years, your plan renews at the then-current annual rate. We'll notify you before the lock period ends.

Your data

You own your data. We don't sell it, mine it, or use it for anything other than operating the product you subscribed to. The AI assistants in each product read your data to answer your questions — they don't share it across accounts or use it to train models for other customers. What you can't do

If we find abuse, we'll contact you first. If it continues, we may suspend or terminate your account.

Service availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee 99.99% availability. We're a small, bootstrapped company running lean infrastructure. If something goes down, we fix it fast and communicate openly. We don't offer SLA-backed uptime guarantees — that's an enterprise promise at enterprise prices.

Cancellation and data retention

You can cancel anytime from your account settings. After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days in case you change your mind, then permanently deleted. If you need your data exported before deletion, email us and we'll help.

Liability

Ryxen products are tools — they assist with tracking, documentation, and compliance awareness, but they don't replace professional legal, safety, or financial advice. SafeDesk provides regulation information with citations, but it's not a substitute for a certified safety consultant. ShopDocs helps build SOPs, but compliance responsibility remains with your organization.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months prior to any claim.

Changes to these terms

If we make meaningful changes, we'll email active account holders and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
